About

Our names are Bob and Melba McFadden. Thank you for visiting us and taking a look at our herbal supplements and fresh natural organic hedge apples. Occasionally we have heirloom seeds or other natural things to share.

We wild forage, harvest, process, manufacture, and formulate on site. From start to finish, our Osage Orange, Maclura Pomifera line is sustainably sourced and never tested on animals. Our skincare and health are synthetic chemical clean. We only use whole plant processed ingredients that work synergystically with Maclura Pomifera to restore and renew cells.

My husband is a third generation farmer and really understands what it takes to grow and raise healthy living things. We tend and care for 60 acres or so of land which we use to grow food for our family and other living critters that rely on us. Horses, chickens, ducks, peacocks, dogs, cats, and lots of wild animals share our space with Bob, our kids and myself. I love to photograph birds, wildlife, native Kansas wildflowers and captive herbs and plants that we grow for the properties they provide.

On our farm we grow much of our own food with heirloom non-hybrid seed stock. We preserve, freeze, or pickle fresh vegetables, grains, brome grass and fruit for our family, pets and livestock to eat throughout the year. Our chickens and ducks provide us with fresh eggs. When they have new chicks and ducklings it is very enjoyable and the poultry never fails to amuse us with their lively antics. We firmly believe that there are many natural non-toxic remedies which our forebears took for common knowledge that is now having to be relearned. Preventive health care from diet or natural minerals makes much more sense than treating an illness after the fact with man made chemicals and toxins that have more side effects which require more chemicals.
