This rich emollient thin lotion-like serum leaves a protective film on the skin. This layer protects and holds moisture. This protective layer allows plenty of time for the other actives in this formula to slowly work their way through the skin layers.
The rich fatty acid content in pracaxi provides restoring hydration, nourishing lubrication, and anti-inflammatory properties.

It can improve the skin’s look and feel by restoring moisture, soothing irritation, and hydrating the skin.
Using pracaxi has been found to ‘increase the density of collagen networks’ and increase hyaluronic acid content in the skin, so it would also be useful in ‘plumping’ products aimed at mature skin types (Beracacare).
HOW TO USE:
• Apply 1-2 pumps to the palm or fingertips and gently massage into the skin at night.
• Use on face, neck, chest, age, and dark spots. It is also helpful for scars, stretch marks, saggy or baggy skin areas, and puffiness.
• Best used at night alone without a lotion over the serum.
• May also be used for the eye area.
The Osage Orange is harvested, processed, and extracted by McFadden Farms, LLC, and then formulated or packaged for several uses.
Absolutes are highly concentrated aromatic oils extracted from plants using a solvent method. The multi-step process includes first extracting the aromatic oil from the plant material with a chemical solvent; McFadden Farms uses food grade 190 proof American grown grain alcohol, American distilled.
We extract the alcohol with a vacuum machine. The closed system stays cool and protects all those delicate isoflavones and antioxidants in the Osage Orange. We process to an absolute.
Absolutes differ from essential oils in that they contain not only essential oils but also a higher density of coloring, waxes, and other constituents from the plant. In addition, they usually contain a small percentage of alcohol remaining from the second phase of the extraction process (typically up to 2 or 3 percent).
Some studies show Osage Orange topically applied worked as well as or better than retinol on collagen and elastin in the skin.
